Antonia Lofaso
Antonia's Lofaso invites you explore her inner world by the food she cooks. The food she creates comes from her interest in the culture of Los Angeles, which was inspired by a visit from Long Island to Los Angeles from Long Island's suburbs. Cavatelli, carnitas, and various other cuisines can be found within a menu. The menu is constantly changing sensibility. The only thing that remains is her unique view of the future, while still wishing to reminisce about the past. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in the year 2013 and quickly became popular. The restaurant's version of old-school Italian has been called the one of Los Angeles' most compelling Italian eateries. The restaurant is frequently praised by Scopa's patrons for serving food that feels authentic and deliciously satisfying. Lofaso studied under some of some of the best chefs in the world and learned their advanced methods but she never unwilling to follow her gut instincts. She rose quickly through the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago and then went on to transform various high-profile kitchens in Los Angeles while working closely with many high-profile celebrities. Lofaso, Sal Aurora, and Mario Guddemi partnered to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City in the year 2011. Her home was in Black Market Liquor Bar and her business relationships. This collaboration would foster creativity and freedom Lofaso longed for. Black Market is not constrained by one definitive direction and that is the intention. It could begin with chips of dill potato and shishito peppers, followed by the lobster roll Korean wings and a variety of meatballs. Antonia is the anchor in this assortment. Throughout her career Lofaso has measured her success through her ability to understand her audience but still remain in line with her personal style. In addition to her memorable performance in Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars, her individuality was also recognized out of the kitchen. In the present, she remains a standout on screen, as judge on CNBC judge and recurring role on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. Lofaso has released her book, The Busy Mother's Cookbook: 100 Quick and Delicious recipes in 2012, with Penguin. It also told the story of how she faced challenges during her time at The French Culinary Institute. She also raised her daughter Xea and her son Xea. Lofaso states that her love for cooking is the driving for her accomplishments. She stays at the forefront of her field by keeping an eye on trends and fashion. Through the Chefletics brand, she is changing the look of the industry, by creating chefwear for both style and practicality. Lofaso will adhere to the vision of her clients. She has created Antonia Lofaso Catering to help achieve that.
